Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 September 2026
This policy explains what personal information Central Era Technologies (“Central Era”, “we”, “us”) collects through www.central-era.com, why we collect it and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, write to contact@central-era.com.
What we collect
Information you send us
When you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter: name, company, work email, phone number, country, the service you are interested in, a description of your requirement, an optional project-scope choice and any optional document you attach. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you share in those messages.
Please do not send passwords, access keys, customer databases or other sensitive production data through the form or by email. If you need a confidentiality agreement before sharing details, say so in your first message.
Technical information
Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of the request. We use this only for security, troubleshooting and capacity planning.
Analytics
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies by default, and its fonts and scripts are served from our own domain. If we enable an analytics tool such as Google Analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss your requirement or training interest.
- To prepare proposals, estimates or follow-up information you have asked for.
- To keep reasonable business records and protect the site from abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing. If we would like to send you something beyond your original enquiry, we will ask first.
Legal basis
Where data protection law such as the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on your request to take pre-contract steps (responding to an enquiry), on our legitimate interest in running and securing our business, and on your consent where we ask for it. We aim to handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of service providers to operate the site and our business:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co): the contact form posts to this third-party service, which forwards your submission to our email inbox. Its own terms and privacy policy apply to that processing.
- Email and productivity providers: your message and our replies are stored in our email system.
- Website hosting provider: serves the site and may keep server logs.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, and to professional advisers under a duty of confidentiality.
International use
We are based in India and work with clients in several countries. Your information may therefore be processed in India and in the countries where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to maintain ordinary business records, then delete or anonymize it. If you become a client, project records are kept under the terms of that engagement.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict certain uses, withdraw consent you have given, and complain to a data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@central-era.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Our site and services are aimed at businesses and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Links to other sites
Articles and pages may link to Microsoft documentation and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
